Michael Jackson Estate Donates $300,000 to Coronavirus Relief Fund

The estate of Micahel Jackson has decided to donate $100,000 each to non-profit organizations, that have been affected by Conornavious pandemic, including Broadway Cares, Nevada’s Three Square Food Bank and MusiCares.

“This virus strikes at the heart of the communities we are close to,” said the Michael Jackson estate co-executors, John Branca and John McClain. “We learned today that the legendary Manu Dibango passed away from the virus. Other performers and support staff in music and on Broadway are sick or have been left without work and are facing an uncertain future. And in Las Vegas, which has been so welcoming to Michael Jackson, the entire city has been shut down leaving thousands of workers and their families devastated and without an income.”

“Michael’s spirit of generosity and helping others during his lifetime is legendary. These donations are inspired by him,” they added.

The donation will help BC/EFA’s COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund for actors, dancers, professionals, and backstage workers.

Oher donation to Three Square Food will provide 300,000 meals to its workers and those who are in need for food.

Through the pandemic of coronavirus, many music-related albums and concerts are getting canceled or delayed. MusiCares will support its people and the music industry who faced the crisis because of it.
